I'm a former collegiate athlete, coach, and parent of two athletes that loves all sports and loves to talk about nutrition. With my wellness background in personal training, fitness, and dietetics, I created online sports nutrition programs for any team or athlete to utilize to help with their performance and recovery. After personally struggling with inflammatory issues, I healed myself with a food as medicine approach. While working in professional sports, I realized there was a nutrition knowledge deficit amongst all ages and that if you aren't doing the basics right, you can't get too gender specific, age specific, or sport specific and the fancy supplements aren't going to help much either. Since coaches are usually who athletes turn to for advice, I wanted to create something to help them help their athletes because they already have a big job to do! Let me be your team nutritionist.
